My Role

1. Participate in the formulation of EIFS Strategic Plan document; 2. Participate in the development of policies,procedures and guidelines of the Institute; 3. Identify strategic focus areas in collaboration with D/Directors and stakeholders/customers; 4. Assist in the preparation and review of TOR for curriculum development and course design; 5. Follow up and manage regular training Programs,research and consultancy works and other training administration activities; 6. Select trainers and determine potential trainers from inside and outside source in collaboration with Director or D/Directors; 7. Prepare contract documents of trainers and sign performance contracts as need be; 8. Deliver welcoming speech and sign on training certificates; 9. Appraise the performance of staff that are directly reporting to him/her; 10. Participate in the preparation of annual training plan and budget; 11. Assist in the invitation and selection of potential consultants and setting selection standards; 12. Sign outgoing letters as appropriate; 13. Lead or share a role in conducting training; 14. Review customers view and feedback prepared by senior training officer/s or officers; 15. Prepare technical and financial proposal in collaboration with the Director/Deputy Directors; 16. Share a role in reviewing and improving training design and training materials; 17. Support in the Preparation of course catalogue/brochures; 18. Maintain contacts with local and foreign higher learining institutions, professional associations and other collaborators as the case may be; 19. Participate in in the analysis of data for training and development strategy; 20. Create awareness to stakeholders/customers on the curriculum study to be conducted; 21. Participate in assessing and identifying training needs; 22. Involve in the Preparation and presentation of the draft curriculum document and comments on same as the case may be; 23. Ensure that trainers are communicated timely; 24. Handover training participation certificates as and when needed and present summary of evaluation at the end of the training session; 25. Involve in the revision of inception reports prepared by consultants as the case may be; 26. Participate in review of research objectives,decide the type of information and data analysis technique and review the metheodology as the case may be; 27. Participate in the preparation of proposal to organize workshop and facilitate same; 28. Participate in Preparation of TOR and development of impact assessment parameters,identify the data to be collected and design data collection method; 29. Involve in the analysis of the collected data and drafting the impact assessment document; 30. Prepare quarterly /semiannual/annual training related performance reports; 31. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor.

Prior to this proclamation, the Bank used to carry out dual activities, i.e. commercial banking and central banking.
